An effort to expand upon architectural drawing skills, a focus was placed on sketching intricate designs. Finding a landmark that was both recognizable as well as finding the right angle, turned out to be no easy task. It started with the basic framework of the structure itself.

Sketched out beginnings of the castle. Contains only linework of the structure itself.
After the framework was laid out, the shading was done to give that dimensional effect. After several hours of working with pencils and blending tools, the effort resulted in a drawing that was both detailed and recognizable for its likeness.
Final rendition of the Hogwarts castle look-alike sketch that contains shading. Has a wizard flying on a broom near the top center of the piece.
